Sadly, their listing of the part as available was an error. They got back to me after i placed an order and replied:

I'm very sorry but due to a mistake in the manufacturer system that populates our site, we have listed the part you have purchased as available but they are currently out of stock. I'm not able to source it from any of our alternative sources.

:( oh my, i was finally hoping this could be fixed. I have used the Fortè additive as mentioned here, it worked for a while keeping the leak at bay but now it is steadily leaking again.

There is, of course a possibility of used parts- I haven't found any parts in Norway but are there perhaps other resources out there?

Yes, checking today the part is now marked as NFP, so no longer available!

A little update regarding this coolant leak. I used the Forte additive, and it seemed to stop the leak for a while, but after a steep hill climb earlier this
April, the heater pipe busted wide open and I had to get my C5 towed back home :(

After several attempts at getting this heater pipe used from various scrap dealers in both sweden and norway, I remembered suddenly a website I used to frequent when I had disposable cash: EBAY! - I searced for it there, but no match- but put in an automated search. A few months went by, and voila:
I got mail... It turned out to be a NOS original part heater pipe from an Italian merchant. A little over a week and €180 later, I got it delivered to my local post office. Looks great! (not so great picture, but...)

Now the challenge will be dismounting and mounting this thing. The local Citroen dealer won't take it on, and my local indie garage is hesitant- lacking the proper documentation for the procedure...

At long last, my C5 is finally up and running again! Just wanted to share the good news :)

There was a change in the local Citroen dealership, and the new garage was very forthcoming in giving help.

They changed out the cooling pipe, both front anti-roll bar drop links and did a full "4-wheel control" with corrective adjustments. The total cost came to about 9500 NOK, about £680

The bottom line is, I'm on the magic carpet again! I have been driving both a new Tesla Model Y and other newish cars in the internim, but I must say I much prefer this well worn french "sofa" of mine :-D

Next up is the MOT (EU) test

Great news, I know the feeling, there's nothing like getting your own Hydro car back after a courtesy car... thanks for the update.
