Mobile One v2 (Asus T12AR) - (No BIOS link/jumper on this system but JRST1 link will reset the clock and boot order

Thats my laptop ..

RM default password is set as rm or rmplc,

Just cleared the master password , now i should be able to install linux ? No i need win xp 32 bit.

Now you are on your own! I just got you to the point where you CAN install an O/S!

Mind you, I would either set a supervisor password you are unlikely to forget, or set it back to the factory default. That way (should you ever have to clear it again) you will be able to get back in.

How legible (for you) is the Microsoft label? There will be a 25 digit code on it (which is the license number), and it should tell you if it is for XP Home or Pro.

This is pro, on this laptop one in the pics , i do have a home version operating system,which was made to run on any pc pre reg version , it was given to me years ago i think it had 32 & 64bit install on the disc. I just need to dig it out.plus my herons boot cd incase

New find , the license label is for win 7 pro , this has xp pro on

If i purchase win7 pro 32bit for 9.99 ebay , my number on that label will be my licence for that disc ? And it should work ?

The license label has the code that will allow Win7 Pro to work. You will want to download the drivers from the RM website to allow Windows to make full use of the hardware.

All done just downloaded from Drive scape all the ones needed for the laptop
