fixed.
in diagbox repair, then pack repair, then replace parts. have to select the two dpf refill pouch options and the "replaced" dpf option.
after this the error codes will clear.
207 1.6hdi, About to replace Eolys Pouch, and DPF filter, advice please.

1) Did you reset the additive counter to zero (that is not the same as resetting the fault code). You'll need to find the specific menu option for that in the repair section, or by going into the engine ECU and looking for the options there in one of the sub-menus.
2) The PEF warning is telling you that the actual particle filter itself has reached end of life. The additive contains Cerine, which can't be burned off during regeneration, along with other engine deposits. The engine ECU calculates the amount of additive injected into the fuel system over time since it left the factory and takes account of any additive top ups. From the quantity of additive injected, it estimates in grammes, the amount of Cerine that has entered the particle filter. When it reaches a certain weight, it throws a warning - time to replace the particle filter.
Your options are to have the particle filter deep-cleaned or replace it. Once either of these operations have been done, you tell the engine ECU that the particle filter has been replaced. This will reset the warning.

sorry for reigniting this thread once more but could I get a bit of advice re removal and cleaning of the dpf?
does it just unbolt and unclip or is there welding on the 207 1.6 hdi (2011)
also I've seen mixed views on how best to clean ranging from pressure washer to dpf cleaner?
thanks!

I'd get it done professionally as if you're not careful you can damage the internal cement of the filter and it can break up. Even places like Halfrauds do an in-place DPF clean now with chemicals that are sprayed into the filter and it's cleaned that way - they do various levels of cleaning depending on how blocked it is.
But to get the filter of being that this is under the vertical catalytic converter in the engine bay, you need to take off the subframe crossmember underneath to get access to the particle filter pressure pipes and to the bolts and clamps.
Some advisories:

Some advisories:
- The front flexible pipe should be protected against any external mechanical interference
- The front flexible pipe should not come into contact with any corrosive products
- Do not deform the front flexible hose by more than 20° angular (X), 20 mm axial and 25 mm in shear (Y)
- Do not deform the front flexible hose by more than 3° angular (X), 0 mm axial and 3 mm in shear (Y) (Front flexible pipe in place)

Are you just trying tot clear the faults? if so that wont work. you need to tell it you have replaced the pouch.
As for the other fault, it believes the DPF is full & needs replacing or cleaning.
Once it has been cleaned you tell it you have replaced the DPF & the fault will clear.
