Hi
Does anyone have any further ideas as to how I could unlock the 3 doors ?
my idea would be to give it a quick pulse of current to unlock each motor just unsure from the wiring diagrams which wires i would need to pulse if anyone has a decent understanding of reading the wiring diagrams some assistance would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
Mark

Re: Peugeot 307 hdi central locking / deadlocking issue
I have a problem with the remote key
1.when I pair the key, I will wait for everything in the car to turn off
2. when I press the lock/unlock switch, only the relay clicks, but it doesn't unlock the car.
I need help, thank you very much

Re: Peugeot 307 hdi central locking / deadlocking issue
Hi,
Newbie. I have similar problems. My car is just Peugeot 307, 2004. Also with deadlocking.
Just fixing door locking. Reason of remote control never worked, I must use key. The lock and key are worn out. I had to disassemble the lock. A little sanding, grinding, adjusting.... One drawback of the lock was so worn out that it had to be remove. Now it work.
1. But. I bought this car many, many year ago, and remote control never work. I replace battery, of cource. Is it any way fix it? If it my remote is not broken... is it any way to register it to BSI?
2. (And... where BSI is? Backside fuse box?)
3. I read schematic.
How this work? Motor I understand. But switches are not clear. Look it is three switch: common is pin 2. One switch in pin 4. Second switch in pin 1. And pushbutton parallel with it. So... how this combination work? What happen when use key etc?

Re: Peugeot 307 hdi central locking / deadlocking issue
If the fob is not an original and has been replaced with an aftermarket version at some point by you or a previous owner, then it may not have the correct circuitry in the remote fob that is compatible with the vehicle - which means only the transponder chip for the starting is working - which is separate to the circuitry for the remote functions.

Key is original from year 2004, delivered with car. Also with peugeot-logo. So it is full original.GiveMeABreak wrote: 24 Jan 2025, 14:04 If the fob is not an original and has been replaced with an aftermarket version at some point by you or a previous owner, then it may not have the correct circuitry in the remote fob that is compatible with the vehicle - which means only the transponder chip for the starting is working - which is separate to the circuitry for the remote functions.
So: If battery of remote is replaced and remote pcb circuit looks "clear"... so, visually it remote looks ok. Central locking works properly with key. "Only way is go to Peugeot specialist and ask fix it or program new key"? Or is it somethin possible measure, or make any programming?
Modify. Now found BSI. BSI = fuse box inside car. Clear. Schematic diagram show lock wires go to this box. BUT. No any wiring diagram show what connector doors are? I try measure wires, but cannot found. Also google and workshop manuals does not tell BSI connector names. So- wires from doors etc go to connector ???? in BSI. Any idea? (Reason: if original remote not work, I will test any general "wireless relay"... so I try found wires from BSI. I try install it to door but there is no continuous 12 VDC. Also it is big work add more wires to door... so, most clever idea is connect it direct to BSI wires. But- no any connector is central lock...)

Do the buttons on the key fob "click". It's possible the buttons are broken.
Do you have the owners manual? In there is the procedure for synchronizing the fob to the car. It could just be out of sync.
The Chinese knock off key fobs now work with the CAN-VAN PSA cars of that vintage but you will need access to Peugeot Planet to code the fob in.

Re: Peugeot 307 hdi central locking / deadlocking issue
Ok,
as I said, my key and remote is original. I bought car and it was in fault list when I bought it: "Remote not work". Central locking work with hard key.
- Battery is new and replaced many times if new battery is broken... so, remote battery is surely ok.
- Remote circuit board is clear and not damaged. No visual faults, even under microscope.
- Switches on remote say "click". Also measured switches on circuit. Switches are ok.
- Synchronize not work. Tested all procedures found from internet: Turn ignition on, press 10 second or press many times etc etc. So tested with lock and unlock-button. All combinations. "10 second", "10 press", "wait", "press button and then turn on, press 60 second" etc etc. All combinations, also imaginary combinations.
So... BSI is broken or remote is broken. Only way is go to Peugeot workshop and ask they make new remote?
