Sayalonga village now out of lockdown after a couple of weeks, but Velez-Malaga/Torre del Mar/Algarrobo still in shut-down. So, essentials only. We're both ok, and friends here too. Just being very careful. Good to see almost total mask wearing in public places.

Couldn’t get the connection at Citroen, so ordered online. But it didn’t arrive in time so yesterday used some bits of diesel pipe and made a temporary repair (probably last 10 years).

Yeah see I think a bit of leaking is good, cos it makes me remember to check the levels. Really does anyone check once a week? I do normally give the engine undertray a hose down but only had time for the windows.

Changed a headlight main beam bulb (only had to remove the battery) but they didn’t check it.

Yes, always even though my cars do so few miles... Weekly checks for ae are a good visual all round, lights, fluid levels and tyre pressures...

The other side broke. I thought that's fine cos I've got the part for that...except it doesn't fit! Oh well I've done the same repair as the first side, easier for access as could remove spare wheel.

I wonder if anyone could actually change a wheel for the spare, on the roadside? Heavy to lift back.
