Yes, I did understand you - but you need to take the lens off and check the bulbs of your original unit to see if they have been replaced previously (prior owner?).
There are several models of DS5 and they have different systems as you have found. You can't just replace a module as the underlying electrical architecture may not support it.
So check the bulbs first and see if the lights work before changing modules - I'm popping out briefly but will get you the part on my return.

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
there were no bulbs as you can see from the opened light assembly on my previous post.GiveMeABreak wrote: 29 Jan 2020, 18:39 Yes, I did understand you - but you need to take the lens off and check the bulbs of your original unit to see if they have been replaced previously (prior owner?).
One of the previous owners removed one of the assemblies and left the remaining one bulb-less.

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
So it's the bulbs that are the issue.
You have a choice of 2 assemblies for your specific DS5:
Part 6362N6 (£5.04 inc. VAT) or 9800444780 (£15.13 inc. VAT) from Citroen.
The first is a standard lamp and the latter is for the cool blue version depending on what you want.

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, so please be kind
I recently bought a used DS5 (2017 2.0 Prestige model) and I notice there is a door bin light (red) in the drivers side, but no visible light on the passenger side. I haven't seen any documentation for the door bin lights, in the user manual or online. Hopefully it is an easy fix for the passenger side, replacement bulb?
Would anyone be able to provide some info?
Cheers, Ian

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
Some have ambience lighting (LEDs) which is attached to s small loom. OF this has failed (door opening and closing shock over time) then the whole section of the wire with the lamp needs replacing.

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
Just to spice up situation, as new ds5 owner. I have another scenario. Both footwell lights are present. They have bulbs. Drivers light is working, passenger is not even connected. There are no loos wores or jack… just random cables

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
Hello, may I ask if you’ve already found the parts you were looking for? I’m also currently searching for the same type of light to install. My car didn’t originally come with it, but I’ve confirmed that there’s a pre-installed power socket inside the door that would allow me to add it. However, I’m not sure which exact item to purchase. If you’ve already found it, I’d appreciate it if you could share the info. Thank you!IanH wrote: 20 Mar 2023, 10:57 Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, so please be kind
