Yes, I did understand you - but you need to take the lens off and check the bulbs of your original unit to see if they have been replaced previously (prior owner?).
There are several models of DS5 and they have different systems as you have found. You can't just replace a module as the underlying electrical architecture may not support it.
So check the bulbs first and see if the lights work before changing modules - I'm popping out briefly but will get you the part on my return.

there were no bulbs as you can see from the opened light assembly on my previous post.GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 19:39Yes, I did understand you - but you need to take the lens off and check the bulbs of your original unit to see if they have been replaced previously (prior owner?).
One of the previous owners removed one of the assemblies and left the remaining one bulb-less.

Re: DS5 footwell lights issue/question
So it's the bulbs that are the issue.
You have a choice of 2 assemblies for your specific DS5:
Part 6362N6 (£5.04 inc. VAT) or 9800444780 (£15.13 inc. VAT) from Citroen.
The first is a standard lamp and the latter is for the cool blue version depending on what you want.
