ok so fitted new turbo and the same problem smoke from the exact same bit. does this mean the cat/dpf is blocked ?

If it was the DPF or CAT I'd have thought the problem would only be there when the engine is up to temperature, and worse from under the bonnet than inside

As soon as you start the engine you can see smoke coming out from , RED ARROW .

This is a brand new turbo and not second hand with the same problem . my next thought was the fumes are being held back, and are building up inside and coming out where it pivots. ive took the dpf off and currently cleaning it . will check cat tomorrow . running out of ideas now .

I contacted the seller of the new turbo and they said there is to much back pressure in the exhaust system and ether the cat or dpf is blocked.
Been cleaning dpf last night and today, Dpf definitely a lot cleaner now will see if this helps , if not will check cat next .

After cleaning the dpf there was still a tiny bit smoke coming from the turbo when i first started it definitely not as much as before , then it gradually got less and less and less . I took it for a good hours drive and cannot smell fumes anymore inside fingers crossed its fixed .
