Berlingo 2011 Horn not working - relay ?

I had something like this happen to the radio in my C5 and it turned out to be a fault on the BSI. Rather than risk immobilising the car I fitted and aftermarket radio and satnav. Shouldn't be to difficult to find the horn push lead and run it to a relay to feed the horn.

I think bypassing the BSI is my way forward. Am I right in saying it should have a live at the horn and earth's through pushing the horn?

I think the horn button goes to earth when used, in which case you will need live to the horn but I would check on that. As it commands the ECU I doubt it has 12v on it.. It shouldn't be to difficult to earth one side of it anyway. You will probably need a relay in the circuit as the current demand may exceed to rating of the contacts on the push.

There didn't seem to be but the new horn is working

The indicators on my 406 did that!
