C5 x7 electric seats in car with non-electric seats ?

I just must post that I give up last year of this, so there is no point to play with that because there is special BSI computer for this seats and without that you can not make it working. As GiveMeABreak mention, this is not like on the old c5.

It's not the BSI that is special, but there are additional ECUs for the seats and the door control modules and memorisation units that are all CAN linked and the wiring looms will be different.

First of all, to ensure you get an appropriate answer, are you asking this within the subject thread (i.e. they have been retro-fitted and are not working) - or are you saying it was a factory fitted system and has stopped working?

Is it really "not-doable"? Is there a differences in wiring outside door panel? I have x7 with heated/massage/memory seats - would like to move them to basic model with only heated seats. Naturally can move all switches and (inside door) cables easily from donor car.

In image is a door of this Exclusive version with electrics (passanger door on LHD), Nordic model if that makes any difference. What is that ecu box on upper left corner - for index mirror?
