I would NOT take my Xantia to any other establishment other than the Rev Jim's

Very much hear you, but I don't want to throw too much at Jim these days especially horrible crawling around under the car nonsense. There are a few things needing done and it will be so much easier for a marque specialist with a proper lift and the proper tools.

Suspension and steering wise if it's much beyond changing spheres it's something I entrust to the professionals. I've spent many an hour having broken or rounded bolts off over the years... it's worth paying someone to go through that!

I'll give BL a shout later this week to look at getting her booked in. At least the hub should come apart to get the CV boot done pretty easily as it was all in bits less than a year ago when the lower ball joint was changed (the garage had to take the whole lot off and unscrew the ball joint on the bench).

Also speaking to a fabricator about another couple of things at the moment, so will have a chat about the exhaust with them while I'm at it.
