Re: Cruise control system faulty

I replaced it in official citroen dealer. My VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Is there any limit on the wheel? I believe that some one sensor show that the wheels are turning by fault. For this reason, i think, my c5 does not lower

Ok, so you have a C5 II 5 DOOR SALOON 2.0 i 16v 143 (EW10A) 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC GEARBOX.

Can you explain what you mean? I'm a little confused as you seem to be talking about several issues - cruise control, Wheel sensors (ABS) and suspension lowering.
(1) If you have an ESP / ABS fault, then the system will automatically stop the Cruise Control from working for safety reasons. You need to find and fix the ABS fault first. A diagnostic will help you identify the area - such as an ABS wheel sensor for example.

(2) The suspension system is completely separate from the ESP / ABS system. Are you saying the suspension will not lower or raise or both? If this is the case, it may be a faulty / stuck front or rear Height corrector.

If you can try and clarify some of the points it might help us understand a little better.

My problem is that above the 110km/h do not lower the suspession. I do not see the message to the small screen regarding with this. This is my problem. I do not have problem with ESP/ABS. The speed control faulty show two times. I turned off the engine and everyrhing OK. At the past i had problem with the two electrovalves of the transmission and i changed them. From then i saw only two times, as i wrote, the message speed control faulty.

You shouldn't get any message about suspension lowering! That is normal.

The suspension only lowers very slightly - about 10mm at motor way speeds - but there is never any message.

You'll only get a message if the system is faulty, or if you deliberately or accidentally tried to raise or lower the suspension using the button (i.e. if your hand accidentally pressed it), but I'm telling you there are no messages for the automatically lowering at motorway speeds or slight raising on rougher ground for the Hydractive function.

You will have the up / down control - but not the SPORT mode button - that was only fitted on Hydractive 3+ systems.

You need to get it diagnosed! Preferably with a Lexia 3 kit. There are too many variables to start guessing - but I'm still not clear what your issues are. You are talking about ABS problems, Cruise Control issues and now suspension....

Get it hooked up to a Lexia, run a Global Diagnostic, note the fault codes down then clear the codes, then go for a drive, then re-run the test and see which ones remain. If you put the codes up here we might be able to help.

These are widely available on the internet - but make sure you purchase a "Full Chip, Revision 'C'" kit to ensure it works with your C5. Or see if you can find somebody with a kit near you who can help you out. You'll need a laptop to install it on too (Win 7 32 Bit operating system to be safe).
