One new question as I do not see the need to create another thread. The engine number on the 2.7 v6. Where on earth is that number as I need it for police clearance. Sigh.

I did try myself to locate it. But I didn’t have alot of time so I missed it. It is quite cramped in there!!

Ok, so the engine identification is in 2 locations:

First is engraved on the Cylinder block: "a"Production line "b"Date of manufacture "c"Legislation type "d"The name of the manufacturer "e"Identification marking "f" production serial number	Second is on the plate of the front valve cover: "a"Production line "b"Date of manufacture "c"Legislation type "d"The name of the manufacturer "e"Identification marking "f" production serial number
