807 outside temp sensor

A possibility of course, highly unusual for a UK vehicle, but of course we have no location information from the OP, so one for him to answer.

The exterior temperature sensor wire directly feeds into the passenger side electric window control unit (whether this is on the LHD or RHD side depending on UK or European model). So the wire will be able to be traced back to this module should the OP want to investigate it or not.

My 08 reg 807 120bhp hasn't got the sensor in the passenger's mirror either and that's a fact. The sensor is working but I've no clue where it is located. It just started showing the external temperature of 84 C so cannot even get the heating going! Getting a bit desperate now as it's no fun driving 100 miles a day in a cold car

It will be there, but it is hidden inside the exterior shell. You have to take that off to locate it.
