I know for a fact that I'll need new brake bleeding nipples for my rear callipers next time I bleed them as I nearly rounded them off tightening them up last time with a normal spanner! In hindsight I should have used a socket at least.

I got the set above a bit cheaper than that set!

the other thing i need to know is those clips(i presume clips)that are around ends of flexible are they part of body/arm or do they move/unclip etc out of the way?

OK something weird happened.
I posted a reply to this, yesterday, but it hasn't appeared.
Short answer to the original question is the nuts will most likely be M10 fine thread and require a 10mm, or 11mm spanner, which should be a "flare nut", or "brake pipe" spanner, not a normal open end.
No idea why my original reply didn't work...
