2001 C5 front suspension leak

It might be that the 'O' ring needs replacing shown at number 9 on the diagram:

He passed it! I suppose he couldn’td really argue as there are no ‘drips or accumulated fluid’;-)
I will give it a oily rag down and solvent wipe and monitor for now, and check before the next mot.

Excellent news - and it goes to show that if you are prepared to mount a challenge - it will force them to be absolutely sure of their decision as they will have to defend it! Now stick to the same guy so you don't have any future issues
