They are proper facelift C5 xenons. Whether they are supposed to be bi-xenon or not I’m not sure. All I do know is with the stock loom, full beam comes from the halogens not he xenons, they stay in dip mode only.

That’ll probably be because of the missing kit / wiring then. They have shutters that electronically move to allow full or reduced light depending on main or dipped beam setting. I had these on my MK II and I know that is definitely how they function on factory fitted systems.

Simon watch what you're doing as I have read that this year the MOT will fail any car with HID lights that where not fitted to the manufacturers standard. So any retro fitted HID's will have to be removed and the original headlight fitted unless you fit the full system and not just a cheap retrofit system.

The idea is to retrofit the entire optional system. So far it seems that the lights and ecu will switch it all on and level them up , but need wiring to get them to turn? and ofc until I get teh bumper off, cannot see about the washers.

I think that’s why I enquired about the washer system in my first post, when Simon mentioned he was fitting them.

I had my MOT recently and was chatting to the tester about the new regs, and he just happened to mention that he would have to remove the aftermarket HID system on his own Land Rover.

The Xenons are D1S bulbs and the main beam is an H1 bulb on each side. The only other light is the sidelights that go into the headlight unit, the H6W and of course the indicator PY21W.

The ballast unit is attached under the headlamps and the igniter is in the bulb base itself and comes with the bulbs.

got a parts list - full front headlamps washer hose set from citroen is £33!

ballast (comes with headlamps) , ecu / adjustment , washer pump (my estate has rear wash wipe and the correct water bottle just without headlamp pump) , jetsx2, pipe set.

however - the looms are different. Not being a sparks, I cant tell from the diagram

So you have the wiring diagram I posted on the last page for the Xenon model, if you want the one for your actual car, then I need your VIN, to ensure the correct diagram according to your options. Then you can compare them.
