Working/good battery? I'm hoping I'll be able to repair the one that's fitted given it's likely the internal battery and maybe a dry joint or two IMO that's stopped it working but if that comes to nought I'll bear that in mind. Hopefully get a chance to look sometime this week, having successfully got the interior swapped today. Where, pray tell, do they hide said siren? Guessing in the scuttle area close to the key, from where the noise seemed to emanate.

Dan,door cards, carpet, steering wheel are from a N plate VSX. Leather seats unsure( exclusive maybe ) instrument cluster from same VSX . A mirror was damaged by drunken idiots over last Christmas (o/s) I was given a replacement but it differed from the n/s in that it had the removable plastic backs that are normally colour coded.so I obtained a n/s to match. White was badged as a Desire hope that helps, also think the siren is located behind n/s inner wing. Les

Ah, that's the remaining info really as these & the VSX wheels were the only bits not original to the spec sheet :) They're now sat pretty in Black & the velour is sat in the garage while I wait for the left floorpan & insulation to dry out. May be that the scuttle crack is the root cause of the airbag fault since it's corroded a connector with some of the pre-tensioner wiring in, actually just posted my plans for that in the blog area. Basically seal with tape to preserve the car for now & either re-seal/repair the scuttle or rescue one from the scrap yard if I can remove it in one piece.

Cheers.
