It will sit in the outbox until Marc reads it, then will move to the Sent box.

If a PM is in the Outbox it simply means that it hasn't been read by the recipient yet. Marc probably has other things to do today and hasn't had time to look in here yet.

Hi Ian - on the Forum system, private messages sit in the outbox until the recipient has actually read them - it works slightly differently on the Forum that an email program. Anyway, here is the complete ESP system wiring Diagram for you. I have included the wiring descriptions for the main plugs below. I can't help with the colours of the wires, because in this case most of them are coded 'ND' non-defined - so could be anything. So focus on the pins.
If you need any more wiring codes for the others coming out of the ESP ECU, then just list them and I'll get back to you.
@ Steve / Paul - Yes - a new house kitten we have 'inherited and it got stuck behind a large unit - so guess what I have been doing since 03:30AM.....

Re: Electrican help please? Citroen C4GP ABS wiring mare (fixed)
Hi Marc / All - I needed to crack on and see what I could find continuity bit by bit...
So! Update: I managed to trace the continuity fault to the actual connector to the abs ecu - once I'd finally worked out it was possible to take the grey plastic mount off the bulk wire connector (/break in) and see the individual wire termination I found there was a break in the cable (completely corroded and green!) about 5cm from its final termination (so hidden in the connector head)! Patched a new wire to bridge the corroded gap and it's sorted it
If anyone was interested the yellow of the pair terminated one row up and slightly to the left from the arrowed pin on my previous image. which \following Marcs diagram, and spotting there was a tiny tiny number printed on the physical head the wiring diagram indeed matches up to the pin positon
Thanks for your help Marc - much appreciated!

No worries, another result, excellent work - it just goes to show how hidden some of these breakages can be.

In both cases I'll need a VIN to help you as diagrams are dependent upon options and specs.

Re: Electrican help please? Citroen C4GP ABS wiring mare (fixed)
You'll need to put the VIN HERE. The system software masks the VIN from public view so it's fine to put it here - only staff can see it, but I cannot see it in a Private Message.pauljordanie wrote: 14 Nov 2018, 14:01 I'm trying to locate a pin out diagram for a 2009 C4GP ECU plug. Ok VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. I'm also looking for the ABS plug pin numbering as well. Thanks.

Ok, here's the ESP / ABS ECU Diagram.
If you need some codes / wires identified let me know.

Thats great !! Thanks. Do you have the pin numbers for the plug that goes on the ABS ECU. Which is pin 1, pin 2 etc on the socket? I have the socket off the back of the unit. I look at the plug that I pulled off but I dont know which is which pin.

Ok, but which pin is pin 1 on the plug? In the picture do I have my probe in pin 3 for example?

Re: Electrican help please? Citroen C4GP ABS wiring mare (fixed)
The numbers should be on the plug - but I can't see much from that picture - it's too dark and not very clear.
