...especially if you get the wrong size one for the cables.

Posi-Taps are better.. Still not perfect but a vast improvement on any Scotchlok...

I use them where I cannot use decent crimps for whatever reason.

Here's a big black high-current one in use on Gabriel to supply her cooling fans bypassing the original open-circuit supply:
