Looking through the handbook for my Mk1 C5, it does NOT have a Speed Limiter as such, but (and this is NOT a Cruise Control function) it does have an Overspeed warning, that is accessed using the button on the wiper stalk. As I have not used it I cannot say any more.

What year is your car? Is it a facelift car?

My C5 is a Mk1, 2004 reg (I assume you mean me, Paul).

OK, I just had a look at "Overspeed" on my C5. First, she is a VTR, which means there are more functions within the trip computer. The "Overspeed" function is found in amongst the options. By default it is (probably) off. I do not know (yet) if turning it on leaves it on next time you drive the car. I have not yet been able to try it out, but I believe all it will do is to provide an audible warning if you exceed the set speed.

Yes, had that on my MK1 SX too, just 'bongs' at you when you exceed the set speed (can't remember, but I'm sure you hold in the end of the stalk to set it).
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

My first one was a 2003 mk1 and the second was a 2007 facelift. I was remembering they worked the same, but maybe they didn't!
