I'll see if I can pump some screenwash out using the pond pump :rofl2: tomorrow as I can't remember whether it was a written warning Message or a bulb type message! I don't know, the things we do here ....

@ sticky - Do you have xenon or halogen headlamps?

That's why ... only the xenon's have the washing fluid sensor fitted and activated (due to the larger washing fluid container - for the headlamps washing as well)

Well that's saved me from pumping out the fluid! 10/10 VAB

Ask me ... I wanted to retrofit it ... :D ... it might be done, but for the level sensor to be active you need to enable the headlamp washing system ... when that's enabled, it tries to link the xenons ... which I don't have ... let alone directional and leveling ECUs ... meaning, I'd have a washing level sensors active, and about 10 permanent errors due to missing equipment ... :D ... my dad's C5 2005 has that feature without the xenons ... go figure the Citroen's logic in that...

I've got halogens and fluid sensor. I have headlamp washers as well.

And I don't like that feature very much, just another annoying beeping sound.

That was standard or did you switch to halogen headlamps from the xenons (people actually do that)? All the available data I have never showed an option halogen + washers (you couldn't even order such a combination) ... then again, it's all up to the market and the car variants

No, I think all C5's in Finland have headlamp washers. Long winter, salty roads and so on...

That means there should also be a combination in the BSI that allows for the headlamp washers option (+ washing fluid level sensor), without the xenons ... I'll have to go through the configuration options once again ... :D

Btw, noticed with Lexia that headlight height ecu or something like that is not present. Same thing with two X7's with hydropneumatic suspension. So retrofitting xenon-headlights would mean also adding that ecu-thing. Height sensors are already there, but without brains for xenons.
