Unless you have Xenons, according to my handbook,
H7 for dipped beam, H4 for main & fog.

More or less what I said! :-D :-D
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

The flashing is probably a faulty comms unit, mine was doing this, since i got it replaced no more flashing lights.

That's wrong. In the photos, 1 and 3 are hinge-points for the retaining spring, which lowers so it doesn't get lost. Release is by unhooking at 2. Might need a small pair of pliers.

Sorry, thought I'd replied (it's an H7).

Tried having a feel around the lamp today. With rubber cap off, I could feel the connector and tried feeling for any play. To my surprise, against slight spring tension, I was able to push down on the end of the connector and observing through the glass, saw the bulb tilt upwards. While it "feels" like there's enough spring tension to resist bumps and shocks and restore it to level, might it explain why it appears the beam pattern sometimes looks a tad higher than it should? I don't know.

I'd be most interested to know if this common for this model (perhaps another member would be so kind as to try this experiment on theirs?) or something is not right with the fitting.
