Mine too. I wasn't confusing the door mirrors with the interior mirror but I think others might have been.

Yes they are all different, mine is an '2011 Upper Low Plus 163 Exclusive', ambient lights above gear stick and interior door handles no side pocket lights, Laminated front screen, not sure about the side windows, Auto dipping interior mirror, not sure about the exterior, no indexing mirror , LED running lights, No Sat Nav, electric Part leather seats, with lumber, rear armrest, entry exit door lights (underneath), Hydro+3, 17" wheels, Radio/CD/USB. Rear parking sensors. Fixed cornering lights.

Put your VIN number into the Citroen Service Site and in the General tab you will get the full spec of your car when it left the factory. I think the earlier models had higher level of trim.

As promised - here is a picture of the button - it is not immediately visible as it is directly underneath the mirror housing. This is from the underside. Can you now confirm you have this?

Great, thanks Bobins - interesting reading - but mistakes in both brochures on the Xenon Directional lighting. They have carried over the description from the Mark 2 facelift that I used to have. These units on the MK2 had a halogen lamp in addition to the xenon main/dipped eliptical unit. The description in the brochures for BOTH years is wrong as it states "...These headlamps contain a directional twin xenon elliptical module for use in the dipped and full-beam positions, and a complex surface “long-range” halogen unit for full-beam only" There is no such halogen light in the MK3 with Xenons - only the big round sidelight unit, the Xenon Bulb and the Angular lighting Bulb (plus either HP24W DRLs or the LED DRL for the 2009 revision). Why am I not surprised?
Anyway, thanks for these -useful to have.

My 2009 VTR+ Nav doesn't really follow any of the specs that closely - it's got additional chrome bits and mood lighting that were only for the Exclusive, the 138 engine which was for the first of the X7models and was soon replaced with the 160 and various other deviations which don't fit directly with the 2008 or 2009 model brochures. I think it was a bit of a 'parts bin' special :)

Looks like it - same with the 'snow motion' option - says in the brochure only available on automatics??? What's that got to do with intelligent traction control? I'm sure some members have posted they have this written on the chrome surround of their manual models.

The best advice for those searching for a an exclusive is to put the main fuel and body style into the search (talking Autotr***r) here for example, then pick a feature you want like 'Navidrive' or 'Xenon' 'LDWS' or 'lane' etc. and that should only bring up those cars likely to be Exclusives - or at least narrow it down a bit. There are a lot of Exclusives out there (or were) :-D but not very well spec'd up.

Indeed ! The brochure calls it 'Snow Mode', whereas I've got 'Snow Motion' on my manual and the owners manual calls it 'Snow Motion'. I suppose it is expecting a bit much for Citroen to get it right though :rofl2:

Wasn't the 'snow mode' a special mode for automatics anyway (snowflake on the selector) - whereas 'Snow Motion' was supposed to be their upgraded Intelligent Traction Control - this I think worked automatically (non switchable). As per these Vids:

I think there's no laminated side windows available on newer models. Also dash mood lighting hasn't been available from 2010 and on I think. And no door pocket lights with sensors. Many cars also seem to lack rear foot lights. This is just normal for Citroen, early models have all bells and whistles, but later they are just dropped of silently. I think they just try to save on production costs...
