Ah ok thanks for the reply. I'll check if it has a seal on it would it just be like a washer ?

Bosch or lucas pump? I can dig out the pump diagrams and have a look, and see just how the advance solenoid works.


Shame its still happening, usually its electronic gremlins on the dw8

Lucas pump. It's absolutely driving me mad. With everything connected it runs great for about 10 secs then goes wrong. I've never known anything so frustrating lol.
