i assume you know that the aircon heater system is the same in both C5 and 407.....

......as is the engine, gearbox etc etc

I just been reading some old posts lol,,having no luck lol me last cars were pugs were 806 405 and 406 loved my old 405 it was just a plain td never had any probs at all

One more thing to check: make sure that the dual zone air conditioning
is working on both sides (left and right).
Broken heater flap is common and repair is not cheap The broken side blows cold air.

More of a problem with the Mk1's I think....still needs check however I agree.

In mine (MK2) the right side has been blowing ONLY Cold for about a month now
The good part of it is that, right side is the passenger's side here

That's true. It is an issue with both MK1 and MK2. Also don't skip the 407's.

I'm planning to fix it on my own. Just need some time and warm weather
