Ok, on that website you sent it says it comes with Diagbox 7.62..

One question, my Xantia is and end 1994/1995 X1 model, is that going to be a problem running the lexia ? Im asking this because in all the lexia ive seen selling they say something like: Works on all vehicles 1996 till present.

I cannot answer that question, as I have not used my Lexia on a series 1 Xantia. I would hope that somebody who has can let you know. Sorry about that.

Any Lexia should talk to an S1 Xantia with the 30 pin Diagnostic socket but you will most likely have
to purchase a 16 pin EOBD diagnostic connector to 30 pin diagnostic adapter...

I would recommend you purchase a Lexia from a vendor who offers this adapter either as a part of the kit or as an optional extra rather than buying an adapter from a third-party.

Reason I say this is some third-party adapters don't work with certain Lexia kits. If you buy it as part of a kit then you have some recourse if it does not work as expected.

That should be OK then James. Is Easy Diagnostics the outfit with the good reputation around these parts?

Apart from the price. They are not the cheapest, but they do seem to have a good aftercare support service.

I have now, after James pointed me to it!!!

James, you are right about the ECU and boost levels...

If you are running the standard boost regulator and NOT an after-market manual boost controller then your problem is very likely to be the wastegate vacuum pipe has a hole in it... This will result in no control of boost pressure and the symptom you are experiencing.

The hole (or more likely a slit or crack) will most likely be found at the wastegate end of the pipe. It is not easy to see or check.

Hope that fixes it for you

Hello i have good news
It was not the vacuum pipe it was the wastegate actuator, 4 years ago when we sent the turbo for repair someone opened the actuator to the max so the turbo was always on max pressure.
I went today to a citroen expecialist and he noticed this problem, then he closed a bit the gap so the wastegate can have room to regulate the pressure. Car is now running at 0.5 ~ 0.8 bar and yellow light is gone :-D

Now i can sleep at night knowing this problem is fixed :) i will focuse now on restoring the other bits of the car that need to be done

Thank you all for the help i will continue posting and later i will show some photos of the activa :)
