Its half up on the pavement so it was a fair whack!
They have up and done a runner so theres no insurance to cover it. A few more things to add to the "to do" list now...
That is bad luck, and even worse that you don't have the numpty's details. I assume that you have let the local police know, as they would classify that as failing to stop at the scene of an accident. You never know, they might catch the sod when they try to get their vehicle repaired.
