Does not matter, can be damaged easy. Have you looked at the internals ?? (Do not stick your finger in there, just look !)dubburke wrote:The engine does seem to rev better when the MAF is disconnected, but it was only replaced apparently last November by Citroen.
Still, you need a Lexia session mate.

Re: C5 Nightmare
Anyone close to me in N.Ireland? on the North coast, need this car sorted, as i cannot afford another one.
Sorted the "suspension faulty" message, by just removing the cap to the hydraulic resevoir, there was a hiss, i put the cap back on, and it now works!!
Forgot to say, the battery keeps going flat, even though it has been swapped for a good one.

Not sure if it would sort any of the problems you're experiencing, but to my mind, I'd first be looking at sorting out why the battery's going flat. If not battery, is alternator 100%? Maybe a low level permanent drain such as the boot lamp not switching off, or a faulty radio/intruder alarm?dubburke wrote:the battery keeps going flat

Thanks, Vehicle is not being used, so it must be a drain, will take out bulbs in the boot and see if it still goes flat!

Re: C5 Nightmare
First thing I would suggest is pull each fuse with the vehicle locked (just with the key, not remote) and connect an ammeter across the terminals. Anything that's higher than 100mA is subject to suspicion.
