If you're talking to Jim let him know that I bought my Lexia from him as well (around October 2012) and have tested your interface with my laptop, Diagbox install, and on my car and have given an independent confirmation that the interface is faulty. Given that you first reported the problem to him while it was still in warranty and he couldn't get it working for you at the time (and didn't replace it) it would be a sign of good will if he would replace it for you.

Hi Simon,just opened your email I phoned Jim last night he sent a text back to say I should phone him today when I do I will tell him what you said, I don't expect him to give me an other Interface but he might fix mine, if you would send me your contact details I will give you a call to let you know how I get on

Simon,I contacted Jim at easy diagnostics yesterday and have arranged to go over to Hamilton on Saturday with my laptop and interface and all the cables and I am sure Jim will get it working,don't know how much it's going to cost but at this stage I am happy he is going to check it out
