C5 1 Engine ECU Not reognised

Cant do it by email as the individual file size is too big, cant burn them to CD as my Lexia laptop has a read only drive, this laptop wont even see the progrmas on the disc, could be because its 64bit Vista but i dont know.
Could upload it to somewhere though.

If you have a decent internet connection speed create a free account on mega.co.nz and upload the files there.

A benefit of using mega.co.nz is that that's where I have my copy of Diagbox hosted so I could make a copy of your files to my collection without having to download them and re-upload them!

Unfortunately the latest version I have is 7.15 and I no longer have access to the auto-professionals forum where I was periodically obtaining the latest updates. (Accounts that are inactive for a number of months get culled and new sign-ups have been disabled for more than a year, I forgot to log in for over 6 months so my account was deleted and I'm effectively locked out )

Doesn't matter now anyway, even if you were registered, you need to be classed as "helpful" by the staff to be able to download anything from there, so even if you were a member, you probably would have needed a whole bunch of posts helping people out. Which helping non-PSA people out with their diagnostic equipment is going to be nigh on impossible.

My Lexia couldn't read the ECU of one of the members 2.2HDi that came to see me last year, but his had been chiptuned or so, and we put it down to that (as mine can read Bandit's 2.2HDi fine, both were of a similar vintage etc).

I have been told by the owner that the ECU has had a Software upgrade so I beleve this is why it wont read it. My Lexia still erased faults though and put the Engine/Service light out, owner happy fellow now!
