That's what a Mk1 under bonnet fuse box looks like, it's a VAN/CAN type, as you can see the connections are totally different. The one on the earlier post is a full CAN version fitted to the mk2's.
The units are also known as BSM units.
Time for an update.Axa wrote:Thanx for clearing it up. The diagram in Haynes says pin 6 on contact 16PV. Guess that would be the one with 15+2 twisted cables? Nothing happens when I feed 12v to pin 6 so have ordered a new pump an cross my fingers that that's the right solution..

Thanks Mark. Sounds good. But looks like the link gone missing?GiveMeABreak wrote:AXA
Here's a link to a pump supplier - a lot less than you have quoted. The link is to the 2004-2008 C5 1.6 HDi Saloon - but if I've got that wrong you can start the search for your vehicle again. By the way they deliver to Norway for about £10. If you aren't sure of the part send me a Private Message with your car VIN code and i'll look it up for you.
Cheers Alasdair - it wouldn't take the last 3 digits of the URL - Link fixed and repeated here:Stickyfinger wrote:link fail
Axa, my link is for a 2006 C5 1.6 HDi as per your post. There should be three units there to choose from. All dual pumps. Link is fixed now - sorry about that!Axa wrote:This is the only Citroen high pressure pump I could find . fits only Relay Van http://www.micksgarage.com/search/headl ... %20hdi/146
