The EGR had clearly not been investigated, the original factory crimped clip was still on the pipework. To get it removed was going to be a fiddle, given my clothing and not much light, and the fact that I wouldn't be able to start it anyway. Ideally I would like to have removed it and see if the engine ran. I have advised the owner that the EGR really is the first port of call, who is now having it recovered to another garage.DW8 Peugeot Partner
