The suspension fluid is in the black plastic tank. I have had mine open several times with no adverse effects. (not with the pump running of course). If you open it, you must be sure to thoroughly clean around the cap first, and ensure that NO foreign bodies get into the tank.

Again, search the forum for topping up the fluid etc.

If the X7 C5 is the same as the early ones then the front & rear sensors are the same, you could swap them round & see if the fault changes to the opposite axle.
