The oil is Chevron stuff in 20l drums...
I've just stocked up on filters too...
That's the unit of sale for CostCo oil Simon!!! Think on for what you pay for 20l that'll do four changes and at a fraction of the cost of buying individual 5l cans...Mandrake wrote:20 litres! That's no use to me.
BTW: seems like opie have another 25% off discount for a limited time again. it's code is MAYHEM, so I'm guessing it expires today. Might be worth having a gander there for some oils that meet the spec for the ES9J4Mandrake wrote:With only one car needing oil and nowhere to store a 20 litre drum of oil where we're staying, I'll pass.

Have yet to use either though.
I decided not to go fully synth with the engine oil this time to keep the costs down a bit. The difference in price will pay for the gearbox additive I wanted to try which is more important IMO.Ben82 wrote:Meca over here suggests that as one of the oils for a xantia v6, (New Life 0W-40, then Super 3000 5W-40, both Fully synth, then the 2000) so I would imagine it's fine.

Not quite, but we've moved in with the in-laws for most likely a few months, so its a bit cramped.CitroJim wrote:Simon, what do you live in? A telephone kiosk? A bus shelter?
I wonder as it must be microscopic if you can't find space for a 20l oil drum...
