What made you change from the TCT to the V6? I ask as my TCT is quicker than my V6 (although the V6 is an auto XM) But the TCT feels quicker than the V6 Xantia I had. Do you have any plans for your V6?

yes where it should be!, unfortunatly on R/H drive cars they put the clutch resovoir on the moon, well it may as well be.

V6 runs better and are faster and it was cheap.

In sweden they sold 25 xantia activa v6 year 00 and totaly 64 xantia activa v6

Probably the bean counters saw low sales of Activas and of V6s and concluded that V6 Activas wouldn't sell in worthwhile numbers.
They would probably have sold far more with the V6 in them.

It is a shame we only got the TCT, its a great engine but its not excellent on fuel. The shame is we should have had the rest of the Activa range here, the V6 and also the diesels.

I dug out a few old Activa road testest the other day (I should scan them into here actually), one said they could see the Activa system being fitted to more, if not every, car in the future. Has anyone ever been more wrong?

No, he's right, such a system should be fitted to every car, especially in this safety-obsessed age. The Activa still holds the record for the Elk Test I believe...
