i know what you mean CitroSwede regarding the extra performance after removeing this so called antpolution crap, as i run 1998 1.9TD XANT which i de/catted what a difference, far more get up and go as the exhaust has no restriction now,

all diesels dont have the FAP as the pug 1.6 HDI 90 307 does not have one, it states this in the ownwers hand book,

you need a flash reader/programmer and something like ecufix.
1. Read engine ECU.
2. Process file on a PC using ecufix to remove DPF
3. Write the file back to the car.
4. Once it is working use a core drill to remove the insides of the DPF.

Stage 3 has potential to kill the car permanently so various precautions have to be taken. A mistake here can cause you to require a new engine management ECU.

Or just buy an Emulator and plug in, can´t go wrong.

Could you reach underneath the car and take a picture of the exhaust and post here? Not sure exactly where the cat /FAP is on your model but if it does have a FAP you won't be able to miss it! (on the c5 it's large, cylindrical and is in two sections)

Have you used one? Where abouts did you get it?
