Hi cachaciero, yeah, sorry for being a numpty, I dont even know where the pump is  . Sitting in the car and operating the raise / lower button does nothing to the actual car, the on screen messaging just shows what it normally did - car height and speed restriction, the indicator by the speedo lights up ok. From inside the cabin everything checks out like it normally did except no car movement. On unlocking the car there is no pump noise, on operating the raise / lower switch there is no pump noise.
Thanks and once again my apologies

O.K the messages originate from the logic half of the system so that does suggest that that bit is good but you don't mention any failure message. On mine with a pump failure after selecting a height change which it can't achieve it comes back with a "Suspension Failure" message.

I think from what you have told us so far that it is probably the Pump Motor bit and we have already suggested how you might test it independant of the car/ logic bit of the pump assembly.

Your other options are substitution if you have a spare pump, available S/H from breakers circa £150.00 or get it on a Lexia analyser which should give a good indication of what the problem is.

Hi, I get no failure message. I had a thought though (it hurt) the day I parked it up I had a major boil up and water went everywhere including the lds reservoir so I can only assume the module underneath got wet and now the problems have occured, seems to be too much of a coincidence.

With the pump directly below the LS reservoir it is more than likely that the water has caused some damage to the motor or ECU for the pump.

Not so sure about that.
The Electronic bit on the top of the pump / valve block is actually very well sealed so unless the water was hot enough to melt the plastic or contained chemicals which had the ability to disolve the plastic and or rubber seals I would be surprised if water had found it's way in.
The motor on the other hand actually has a breather / drain hole but this should be on the underside of the motor casing, the connector / logic assembly is sealed in with a polyurethane or butyl type mastic so basically I would'nt expect major ingress of water into the motor.

I would'nt dismiss the possibility entirely but it wouldn't be at the top of my list of probably causes.

Thanks for the input. I'm off on holiday for a week now so thankfully you will get a break from me. Just before I go does anyone have a wiring diagram for the pump / hydraulic circuit.
Cheers
