Well I've been enjoying using the new lenses and isn't that Sigma wide!

I've done it again though, in that I've just bought myself a Fisheye lens!
I've been hankering after one for a long time and although I won't use it too much I decided to treat myself - I look forward to getting it.

Might need a bigger camera bag now though...

Tell me about it, I'm now on my third one which if its fully loaded is rather heavy, that's without my 400mm telephoto as its too long and has its own case

It's the Sigma 8mm F/4 EX DG Circular Fisheye .
I wasn't specifically looking to buy that model etc but it was cheap, and if it's cheap I like it! :D
I've mentioned it to a friend that is into his photography much more than me and he was surprised how cheap I got it. It's only been used a couple of times and was £280 - new they are near £450.

Result :D I've never used a fisheye I imagine you can have some fun with those.

I've used a 10.5mm Nikon Fisheye very briefly in a camera shop which was great so I can't wait to see what this 8mm is like. If I don't get on with it I can always sell it on at that price.

No more purchases for me though - three lenses in one week is more than enough!

I do like this fisheye picture with HDR that someone took:

Hopefully I'll have it for the National Rally next weekend (I most probably will, thinking about it) - feel free to have a look and try it if you see me.
