Xantia rear suspension cylinders

I don’t know if it is of an importance but I noticed that when I turn on the engine and at the same time pressing the brake pedal it will prevent the rear suspension to rise only when I release the brake pedal it will rise to the normal riding height. Is this normal or pressing the brake pedal shouldn’t affect the rising of the rear suspension.

Thats normal, as the car rises the rear wheels turn, so if you stop them turning by applying the brakes then the car can't rise.
