The XM is gorgeous, big enough for a family of 6 to live inside it and still have room for guests :D
Although the single spoke steering wheel was a bit to flexible for my comfort

citroenxm wrote:LOL I love 3 cylinders too!

I used to drive a Diahatsu Charade, a D reg one, AUTO! 3 cylinder 1 litre, made a wonderfull V6 type noise...

Half a V6 - but sound like one... LOL...

Some nice points Chris, my Pug Citroën though would have to be the C2.. though its been withdrawn now :-(

Paul
Ive had two 3 pot 1.4TDi Seats, what a great engine!

I do love a good 3 pot. I say good as even the youngest 3pot Corsas sound like they are running with an oil and sand mixture!

The C2 is ok, i quite like them, but they are far from simple with their multiplexing - something an ideal cheap car should be is simple, as you dont want to pay big repair bills on a small car.

The only C2 ive driven is a VTS, which was huge fun! Bit of a boring engine but it pulled well and the handling was ok, pretty grippy and nice lift off oversteer. Great for small hot hatch.

Views on cars always differ between people, its interesting to get other peoples views on cars. Though views can only really be given if that person has experience that car, it cant purely be dismissed on looks etc. Very few cars are truly hideous!

No doubt the Turbo is makig money by a Damm Puggeriser!!!!

I cringe when they come up for sale! Ive seen Puggerisers pay 500 quid for them before now - useually the manual nes though, theres less work to do

Xms do appear to be increasing in value very very slightly, at least for good ones. And that TCT is a cracker 8-)

Its very nice to see it has so much interest and is already at a good price.

It is a shame, looks like we need to stockpile LHM!
I wouldnt mind a c6, I like the fact it is obviously descended form the Cx.

Looks like i need to get some land to stockpile a few more citroens!

If you think LHM is expensive, wait till you see the price of LDS  And it's not (yet) widely available aftermarket - I had to trek all across N Edinburgh to the dealers to get some for my mate's car after we drained the power steering during the clutch change!

£15 / litre BTW for anyone silly enough need some!!
