Well then.. :lol: he's posted the wrong photos, that engine is DEFEANTLY an 8v, Ill bet my HDi Xantia it is too... LOL..

Some times the DVLA do get it wrong... but not often.

From memory the one I checked out carefully, had the two part metal cam covers - sign of the earlier motor to me.

I've never quite come to grips with what creates the apparently different power levels between these motors and later engines. Both seem to drive similarly to me.
