Hi Dean

Of course it is another one.
I was told that with 2.5TD XM's I had to go and get a replacement one every time the MOT runs out.
There is of course another one that I have my eye on for next week.

Hi Dean, Peter

You two are spot on with the problems that go with the habit.

Perhaps I can start to stand the estates on their back end to make better use of the available space. Find a nice big field to park a few different colour ones nose up looking like rockets and I could get an arts council grant to buy more.

I think, in the world of art, they call that an "installation" John

I can see it now: "XMs standing to attention" by xmexclusive..

Turner Prize material possibly...

I can just picture XMs sat like that actually.. they could pass off as rockets no problem too! :D

There's bound to be some nut (besides us), who would think its art..

An update on the 2.1, I do think the gasket is (-expletive removed-), but as I couldn't get hold of a sniff test yesterday, my cousin's friend is going to check it for me on Monday at his garage, and if the news is bad, he'll be doing the job.

I feel like such a cop out now , but as I was saying earlier, I just don't have the luxury of time at the moment.

I do think I'll have to follow Peter's advice though, and get a spare one for use in these situations!

Cheers for everyone's input, much appreciated.
