Some of you may be interested to know that i know this car and looked at it last weekend.
I can confirm it is a restoration project.
There is a lot of rust on the car and some previously repaired major accident damage that will want sorting.
Essentially its a good base for a 10grand restoration. The colour used to be a very light blue but at some point has had a respray to a non citroen colour.
The owner runs an 'ex' citroen specialist and is a nice approachable chap.
I want that one!

is this the second or third time round? -I don't know what the reserve is but, whatever, like all old motors, its only worth what someone wants to pay for it rather than what the price guides say, .......in pounds, euros, dollars, or any other currency of choice, no matter how rare it is!!

Curious as to what it went for, I had a look today and found that it had been relisted for yet another, third attempt (at least), and STILL failed to sell

He appears to have grossly overestimated the interest in CX's, in this country, anyway, and set his reserve way too high
I'd be curious to know what its been set at!!
The market seems to have decided its worth around the two grand mark, which is a lot for something which is a restoration project-I'd have taken the money..........

Combien ?
Well so far with the the car being listed three times so far with the possibility of even more.
LOL
As the seller seems to think it will get more, I like bxbodger would like to know what the reserve is set at.
It would appear that there has been one bidder that has bid in both the second, and third auctions who is gdp1967. As bxbodger said, the market has decided the amount that the car will fetch.
The thing is if the car is relisted yet again, then the seller might find that prospective bidders will consider him a time waster, and will have no patience for this yet again !!!!!](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)
