I could be wrong but it looks like it has 3 valves per cylinder with one opening into the swirl chamber.

you know I was reading this last night befor i wnt to bed.. then i thoght that i had seen a machiened part for the cam (the cam is in a sperate section on the 12v head). so those poctures are the 8v HDI and i have no pictures of the 2.1 head at all! thats just typical i striped the whole thing down cleand and checked it and took no pictures!
Good going that man.
I will leave the pictures of the HDi head up for a couple more hours then remove them!

Why not whip off the head (Can't take very long as you are familiar with the job) take a couple of photos and then refit it.
That will be todays helpful suggestion [:D][:D]

Would that work when trying to see if the glowplugs glow?[;)]

No, the camera flash would mean you couldn't see the glow.
You could try it in the dark with the flash turned off.

LOL actualy the head isnt bolted on firmly yet and I have to oil all the head bolts any way so I may just do that and take the head back off, I cant see that it would cause a problem... pictures of the head comming this weekend!
