You could with a tripod and a camera with movement detection. ! Just need a platoon of marines to guard it in MK I guess!! :-D

Skull wrote: 10 Jun 2025, 08:19 Who knew MK was that hilly
Thanks Skull :-D You'd be amazed - we have loads of little hillocks all over the place around here although only two are really truly hills in that they need gradient warning signs but all those little ones sure add up and both when cycling and running there's no avoiding them...

The course we raced last evening has quite a cheeky little hill going up into Astwood village and is universally hated, as is the even cheekier one going up into North Crawley

Given those hills, my current fitness/training level and the significant headwind I'm very happy with 18mph :-D

I almost achieved no-bike-repairs-pending-nirvana on Sunday after I fitted a dropper post - but it's OK, because I remembered that I have to shorten the rear brake hose on my MTB :-D

And no doubt a bike will break - youngest son is mumbling about needing a new front tyre on his MTB. Oh, and I need to see if I can improve the brake on his BMX.

Ah, saved, situation normal with repairs pending has been re-established. Phew!

I was confusticated for a moment there as I always read 'MTB' as Motor Torpedo Boat :(

I was back behind the lens last evening for the NBRC Wednesday TT meet..

This rider is giving it the full gas and sprinting hard for the finish line.

He had good reason to go as fast as he could... He was being chased...

He was one of the top finishers Paul :)

It would make a great support vehicle - but only if you are based at Luton Airport!

  Even without spikes that bus helped him get a very good time Ryan ;) He raced the 10 miles in 21m 54s which is a very quick time - a full ten minutes better than I can do!

That very fact strengthens my argument about cyclists needing to have a license to use the roads. Tootling along at 9-12 mph in the gutter is one thing, but racing buses at 30mph just ain't right without a license !!
