Dear Friends,
I have a 2007 Citroen C4 with an electrical power supply fault for the AC Blower just as described here.
I made a bridge between the two cables as indicated in the thread and it works randomly.
In the garage I was told that the BSM unit was defective and I had to replace it.
No number is specified on the faulty unit so I'm not sure which part I should order.
My VIN number is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Please help me order the correct BSM unit for me.
Thanks and best regards,
Shemi.

Hi Petepetef wrote: 09 Nov 2017, 19:16 Yes, the two wires in your photo were connected with a fused bridge by the auto electrician and heater and air con then worked - but no delay when ignition was switched on. Can't remember the size of fuse - but should be the same as the heater fuse in the BSM, 15 amp??
When I eventually replaced the fusebox I simply removed the fuse and left the bridge in place - for the next time the fusebox fails.......
When you say 'Bridge' the two wires, do you mean 'short' the two wires, ie, connect the two together?

Re: C4 heater/air con not working
I just paid £500 for mine to be fixed, new motor and controller. Water damage was the cause.

Re: C4 heater/air con not working
Hi All,
New to this forum.
Having the same issue - no air flow. Was told by an Auto electrician to replace the blower motor, but it works when i power it directly (speed also changes when i decrease the current).
When i disconnect the plug from the motor, the plug reads about 8V. As soon as i connect it to the motor, it drops to 0V.
With the motor plugged in, everything before the blower resistor reads a voltage but 0V out of the resistor. I suspect its the resistor that may be faulty so i ordered a new one. After reading this thread i now have my doubts.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: C4 heater/air con not working
In most cases it is likely to be the blower motor control module that fails. As you've ordered one now, you'll soon know - but don't buy cheap versions as these have been known to not work.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

I attach some photos of my fuse box. Please can you show me what wires to bridge to make my blower work?
