Hi,ian391 wrote: 26 Apr 2021, 16:39 Hi,
Just been having a good read of all of the comment after my fan died last week, used the bridging trick and worked on the 1st turn over of the ignition (Happy days). However 2nd turnover the fan kicked in but then stopped! Tried again and still no fan! Gave it a little bit of time tried again but still no joy, removed the key from the ignition, put the key back in the ignition and then tried again and worked fine. However tried again later, fan came on 1st turn over then went off again!
Any ideas what my next steps would be? Fuse board in engine bay replacement?
My VIN is : VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thank you very much.
With reference to the above could anyone help in sourcing the correct part number the fuse box in the engine bay? New on this forum and would greatly appreciate any help as it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: C4 heater/air con not working
Hi, so I've been searching ebay for a 6500CK but they not different L numbers. After looking at mine it states a L06-00 as per the attached. Is this all I have to look out for or should their be anymore numbers to review?wheeler wrote: 05 May 2021, 19:58 Got it now, The part number is 6500CK & is priced at £266.36 + vat from Citroen.

Re: C4 heater/air con not working
6500CK is the PSA part number & is not normally stamped or printed on the actual part.
Breakers on ebay don’t normally have the PSA part number listed for this reason.
Is there a 96xxxxxxx number on the fusebox anywhere? This is your best bet for matching up a second hand part.

I can't see the 99xxxxx number I'm afraid as my current one is still installed in the car. Is there any other way of finding this number out?wheeler wrote: 06 May 2021, 19:44 6500CK is the PSA part number & is not normally stamped or printed on the actual part.

The fuse box is fairly easy to remove, 1 or 2 nuts and you need to remove the plugs and also disconnect the battery.
Someone on the forum did post a picture of where the 96xxxxxxxxxxxxxx number is on the fusebox but cannot remember who or where.
It is probably only a 20 min job to remove and replace
