One of the things to remember in Gimp Jim, is that you can customise any and all of the keyboard shortcuts. So once you've got your head around which tools you use the most you can get those mapped accordingly and it massively decreases the productivity to faff ratio at least in my experience.

Tool to configure those is at the bottom of the Edit menu if I remember right.

It's that time of the month again... And as it's been such a wet and dreary day it's been an ideal day to draft the March edition of the Citroen Car Club Cltroenian magazine A to Z column - often subtitled 'The continuing adventures of Strawberry and Bluebell'. Daffodil often makes a guest appearance too; this month being no exception.

This month I've comfortably beaten the editor's deadline for submissions - she's not even emailed we correspondents to remind us yet. When she does I can look all smug

And these past two days I've got a mountain of indoor work done and dusted so that the next five days are free to be properly enjoyed. Tomorrow with someone very special to me - no, not Steph, although she is and then on Thursday and Friday after club runs, servicing both Strawberry and Polly. I'm pleased to report Halfrauds click and collect ordering works a treat and I realised a considerable saving by being a member of their 'club'. Polly will soon have some nice new Total 0W-30 oil to drink I have some Total 5W-30 in stock for her but that's strictly for a summer treat... I say drink but actually she uses virtually none between changes...

Strawberry will have a nice new dose of 10W-40. I can't imagine she'd like 0W-30 at all and would likely find many interesting ways to get rid of it

If time permits after that lot I can then get a bit more done on Bluebell. It'll be good to get her back on the road. The weekend may not offer too much opportunity as I'll be doing my usual...

Garmin award these badges from time to time for significant achievements and I have amassed a good few now, even for the quality of my sleep!

I don't quite know how it does it but my Garmin Forerunner watch monitors my sleep and a whole myriad of health-related metrics. It's like wearing a doctor on your wrist

This year I'm going to try to beat my all-time streak record of 208 days...

"Smartwatch firm Garmin is facing a backlash after customers around the world complained their devices were not working.
Some users reported seeing a blue triangle when they tried to turn on their watch, while others were stuck on its start-up screen.

I have seen that happen to Jim......and I am NOT pressing that "unfortunately placed" re-set button again !.... I very much had to throw away that pencil !

Re-booting him wouldn't be a problem. The difficulty is catching him to boot him in the first place!

Happily, my Garmin Forerunner, being an older version, as unaffected by all of this... So far...

After an awesome day out with the girls, I gave Strawberry an oil change... First time in my ownership and I was delighted to find the sump plug was not stupidly tight

After my club run tomorrow it'll be Polly's turn to have hers changed and a light service... Taking advantage of the fine weather. It's been gorgeous here today...

A good and busy day today...

Enjoyed a great club run in gorgeous bright sunshine. It was cold and I was devastated to find I'd left my hat and gloves at home so had to run without... Happily, I survived

Before the run, I'd blind-baked a pastry case for a quiche and then, on my return home made the filling and baked it...

I finished off Strawberry's minor service and health check before doing same on Polly...

Again, an easily loosened sump plug and the oil filter cap, having been properly torqued last time, came undone with no protest at all... Swapping the element is still fiddly but with practice I'm improving...

Wheels off to check brake pads and suspension and all good.

Whilst I had the wheels off I did notice I'm going to need to do a bit of rust treatment when the weather is warm and benign...

Last job after tidying up and cleaning up was a Diagbox session. No faults, 4500Km to go before I need to refill my AdBlue tank and my Eolys tank is 59% full...

Her MoT is in March and I see no reason she won't pass...

I'm happy... I can now concentrate on getting Bluebell back together and mobile again.
