I've had it in a few cars and I don't like it at all. Activa cloth, MK2 Impreza or Saab C900 seats are the comfiest for me.

MK2 Impreza seats are a bolt-in swap for Berlingo ones :)

Mk2 impreza seats went into my first 107 with very little fabrication. Made a massive difference to it!

The leathers aren't quite as comfy as activa cloth seats, but its easier to find that sweet spot. I could never get it 100% with the cloth ones.

Tbh i'm never usually a fan of leather but they really improve the looks inside.

They'll be going in the Bingo too once I find a decent pair at a reasonable price!

I got lucky, got a full, tidy interior for 99p on eBay! They were in Aberdeen, the guy just wanted rid. I sold them for £100 after I sold the 107 [emoji5]

I personally find the C1/107 seats just the job but I guess for you gentlemen of somewhat larger proportions than I then they are a bit on the small side...

Roughing up the light housing to accept the Hella units.

I will make a set of supports using alloy first then use steel, these will hold the adjustment screws.
I will "weld" these in using resin and add a couple of rivets when in the correct position. Once all the position is correct I will make a cover piece and paint that silver to hide the mounts and keep the OEM look through the lens.
The cut-out in the top & bottom will get a fibreglass and filler layer once I have checked the clearance. I will try and make the little bulge disappear by building up the removed plastic to the original pattern including the two triangular bracings found on the OEM units.

Setting up a rough for the "decorative" plate and getting the spacings for the lamp units correct.

The corrugations finish it nicely - will you be patenting that technique?

Once I am sure that all fits (it looks OK atm), then the glass will go off for grinding/polishing to rid it of the flutes.
There is a "slight" risk of the glass cracking during the polishing but I have two full sets of RHD ones so not really bothered if one goes PoP.

Slightly tempted to add a third light.....

Just picked this up sticky and was about to add 'would look so much better with a third light' when i reached the end of the thread and read you've beaten me to it ... looks a little sparce otherwise. Or use bigger beams and stick with two. Cant get a set of morettes then?

If you had a third light, how much would the be involved to allow it to turn in sync with the steering, as on the DS?
